Just as the cost of a due diligence exercise varies from one case to another, so does the time needed to execute the assignment. The scope of some undertakings are limited, and will normally require just a few days, while others can be quite extensive, and will thus take up to a month.

Due diligence assignments are diverse in nature. It is rare that any two assignments can be the same in all aspects. Therefore, the cost of any due diligence exercise is decided on a case-by-case basis. We normally come up with a quotation that reflects the uniqueness of the undertaking. 

Real estate due diligence are the reasonable steps taken by a prospective buyer of a certain piece of real estate to establish a wide array of facts about the property in order to enable him or her to effectively evaluate whether it is a sound investment decision. 

This exercise will normally cover areas such as ownership history, incumbrances (mortgages, caveats, liens, etc), land use compliance, and so on.

Primarily, we walk our clients through the due diligence process. In other cases, we exclusively handle the due diligence proceedings for the client. This applies not only to prospective buyers of land but also to property owners who may or may not necessarily wish  to sale, but who need certain questions about their property answered.
